TellTable-S is an application server to allow collaborative work on office applications. Users log into the application via a SSL enabled web browser, and are presented with a list of files they can work with. The user selects a file, and it is opened on the server, and the screen image is expored to a Java client in the user's browser. All keyboard and mouse activity is then transmitted to the server.

In this way, the authorative copy of the document, including document security and integrity, is maintained on the server. When multiple people work with the same document, there is never the possibility that users can introduce conflicting modifications to a document.
